Rigs are very similar to bubblers. While bubblers may swing both ways and be used for dry-herb and concentrates. Rigs are almost exclusively used for concentrates and wax. This is due to their small size and lack of ice-pinch to cool the harsh flower smoke. Concentrates and wax are best smoked immediately after heating up. These small rigs allow for the smoke to travel less distance which will result in a better smoking experience compared to a bong.
